This old-school cash register is still in use at O’hara’s Irish Pub in downtown NYC. It’s by far one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. If you ever have the chance – stop in! The walls of the pub have been redone since 9/11 with tribute to all who helped the city recover. I’m sure that this Pub was refuge in NYC’s time of need. Patches from all over the country are displayed, side by side, from wall to wall… it’s inspirational to see the human spirit… as people – strangers – had come together to help one another.
The old and new proudly rooted in O’hara’s … that’s the good stuff!
Be safe NY!
Taken on a short trip into NYC for a show with my family –in honor of my little one’s Birthday… Loving the bustle of the city. Wishing we had more time to spend on such a rarely beautiful mild day in February in the Northeast.
